Raleigh is the capital of the State of North Carolina and is known as the "City of Oaks" for its many oak trees. It is second most populous city in North Carolina after Charlotte. The 2009 Conference in the States in Raleigh will take place in the brand new Raleigh Convention Center. Hotel accommodations are in the adjoining new Marriott Hotel, or nearby at the Sheraton hotel. Raleigh is easy to fly to or drive to. |
