Note: Please make your hotel reservations early. A number of local colleges and universities will be holding graduation ceremonies on the weekends before and during the conference.
RALEIGH CONVENTION CENTER
The 2009 NGS Family History Conference will be held in the new Raleigh Convention Center, whichadjoins the new Marriott City Center and Raleigh Sheraton hotels. Within a few blocks is the North Carolina State Government complex, which includes the State Archives, the State Library, and the North Carolina Museum of History.

The NGS conference rate is $120 plus tax per night, single/double. Free parking for one car per room. Recently renovated, the Sheraton Raleigh Hotel is just one-half block from the new Raleigh Convention Center.

The NGS conference rate is $79 plus tax per night, single/double. Free Internet access and parking. The recently renovated Clarion Hotel State Capital is located 8 blocks from the Raleigh Convention Center.

The NGS conference rate is $124 plus tax per night, single/double. Free parking for one car per room. The hotel is connected to the new Raleigh Convention Center by a short, enclosed walkway.
Parking
The Raleigh Marriott hotel, the Raleigh Sheraton, and the Raleigh Clarion Hotel—the main conference hotels—all offer one complimentary parking space per sleeping room as part of your room reservation. The new Raleigh Convention Center includes a 900-space attached parking garage. In addition, there are more than 4,000 parking spaces within a two-block radius of the center. Current rates (December 2008) are $7-10.
Bringing an RV to the Conference?
North Carolina State Fairgrounds is 5.5 miles away from the conference center.
$25 a day, full hookup (30 & 50 amp)
