NGS Bible Records
The NGS Bible Record collection is being indexed and digitized. A large percentage of the Bibles, but not all, have an every name index. The index is searchable via the Internet to members free of cost. Images of the Bible pages are being scanned in PDF format. They are available to view online by members only. When new Bibles are indexed or scanned, they are uploaded that night, and become available on-line the next day to members. Since we are working on these almost daily, people need to check back periodically.

If you would like to donate to this collection, please send us a photocopy of the title age and the family record pages. A transcription is also helpful, but not required. If you send a transcription it ensures that we do not transcribe the names incorrectly. You can also include other information such as where the people lived, or the current or former owner of the bible. If the bible belongs to someone else, please obtain their permission to send us a copy. To send electronically please use the following e-mail address, biblerecords@ngsgenealogy.org.
