NGS Awards

Deadline for Submissions — 31 January Annually

The NGS Awards program recognizes excellence, scholarship, and achievements in the field of genealogy by presenting awards to individuals and organizations that have made outstanding contributions to NGS programs or have performed outstanding work in the field of genealogy, history, biography, or heraldry.

The presentation of these awards is administered by the NGS Awards Committee. The NGS Awards Committee chair sets deadlines for the receipt of nominations. Notice of the deadlines are sent to the board of directors and to the membership through the NGS NewsMagazine. Nominations are submitted to the NGS Awards Committee which reviews and evaluates the nominations. All nominations must include e-mail contact information.
