Please come prepared for the Youth Kamp
Before You Arrive
- Please download and print an Ancestor Chart and a Family Group Sheet. Fill out the forms with as much information as possible. You will probably need to talk to your parents, grandparents, and other relatives to get the information.
- Bring 10–15 photos of your family. The photos do not need to be old; they can be photos of a recent family event. If the photos are old, bring copies not originals.
Ancestor Chart, also known as a pedigree chart, is a basic genealogy form which records the names of your ancestors and the dates and places of the three main genealogical events: births, marriages, and deaths. Please fill out the chart with as much information as you can before Youth Kamp class and bring it with you.
Family Group Sheet, is a basic genealogy form used for recording detailed genealogical information about the family of each of your ancestors on the Ancestor Chart. Each sheet will include a husband, wife, and their children. Please fill out a chart on each couple on your Ancestor Chart with as much information as you can before Youth Kamp class and bring them with you.
