The National Genealogical Society Family History Conference is a premier annual event for family historians, professional genealogists, hobbyists, and history buffs. There are also special events planned for organizations: societies, libraries, archives, and museums. The conference typically takes place in a different US city each year in the month of May, with a new theme and a new program of lectures, sessions, workshops, luncheons, and events.
The upcoming NGS 2023 Family History Conference, Virginia: The Deep Roots of a Nation, will be held in Richmond, Virginia, 31 May–3 June 2023, and Online at Home 2-3 June 2023. Attendees can choose from dozens of new lectures for family history researchers at all levels by the nation’s premier genealogical speakers.
