The National Genealogical Society Family History Conference is a premier annual event for Family Historians, Professional Genealogists, Hobbyists, and History Buffs. There are also special events planned for organizations: societies, libraries, archives, and museums. The conference typically takes place in a different US city each year in the month of May, with a new theme, a new program of lectures, sessions, workshops, luncheons, and events. In 2020 and 2021 the annual conference has been virtual only, due to COVID-19 restrictions on gatherings for large groups.
The upcoming NGS 2021 Family History Conference cannot be held in Richmond, Virginia in May 2021 due to Virginia state COVID restrictions. NGS was prepared with a contingency plan and has a virtual conference ready in its place. The 2021 NGS virtual conference will offer NGS LIVE! and an expansive On-Demand series of more than 85 lectures to advance your research. Please visit the NGS conference website (conference.ngsgenealogy.org) to see the full program for the virtual National Genealogical Society Family History Conference 17-21 May, 2021.
